It didn't measure up to other great finals in terms of quality, but the sheer willpower and tension on display made it incredible.
The men at the top of tennis put most other sportsmen to shame.
I think some of the baseline exchanges were some of the best i've seen in men's tennis, and the topsy turvy nature of the match
Nadal outplayed Djokovic in the first set, overpowering him with forehand winners
Djokovic outclassed Nadal in the next two sets
Nadal threw everything at Djokovic fourth set, including one of the most amazing escape feats at 0-40 down at 4-3
Nadal looked to have physically exhausted Djokovic but blundered to put the match back in the balance, Djokovic out of nowhere seemed to get a second wind regained the iniative but was almost broken back serving for the championship....two men refusing to give up and playing some ferocious tennis to boot.

Federers still around of course and id like to mention Murray as well who impressed. Saw something different from him this tournament. Could be the Lendl factor. One to watch in the coming slams.
