Add the fact that we're a week into the season, Newcastle don't need to sell and we're fucking desperate.... you're looking at more like £20m as an opening offer.
It's just shocking that it'll cost us more to get cabye than it would have cost to get gustavo. £25 for Michu or £31 for Higuain.... They know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Yeah we are total and utter tossers in the transfer market, it's pretty clear to anyone when a bid is going to p*ss someone off (like the £1 offer), if you go in for someone's best player and offer them peanuts you'll get their back up and they'll be more intent on keeping hold of him and not selling to you.Quote:
