Like everything - the modern version is industrial grade shite. Same with F1. Dunno, don't watch it because it turned into a power serve shit thing, but maybe tennis is still okay? Can't say. Football, long since swirled down the drain. Never have watched rugby, but even they did all the shite with the fancy money leagues and all that, didn't they? So suspect that's shit now too. Never watched cricket - has that been fucked? Golf? Remember some tournaments being great, but haven't watched in an age.

Mainly follow rowing now. Now THAT's a man's game! And a woman's - have massive respect for the women in that sport too.

It’s a sport - much like tennis - I dip in and out of.
I enjoy it when I watch it but don’t do so that often.

How so? I think snooker is pretty much unmessupable. You can't have some oi sheik coming in and buying up world titles.
It's mano a mano, always has been, always will be.

It did but things have long since moved on from that. I'm not sure how that happened - think they changed the rackets or something.
But whatever, the old serve volley thing is less prevalent these days and there are more rallys.
And it has the same feature as snooker of being an individual sport so less corruptible in the way football has been
Tennis is another sport I dip in to here and there but enjoy it when I watch it.

Anyway, 11-6 to Xintong at the close of play. Williams just about back in it but needs a good afternoon session tomorrow

Well I watched snooker a while back and there were no fags (which is a major fucking surprise in this day and age) and no beer. Looks like it's gone down hill pretty fast from where I'm watching. Also tuned in the other day and there was a woman ref - so I mean obviously.

I am increasingly convinced you're just playing a comedy character on here.
Based on the pub landlord, maybe? A pretty poor imitation though.
