Spurs were always going to make signings, they've been quietish, logically it was going to happen today.

Yeah, I have to agree. It's win/ win for those cunts. If they can somehow keep Wenger in his chair, they retain the only football manager (so-called) in the world who prioritises profits over football. But if the heat gets to much, they can sack him and declare a new era. Some fools might even see them as heroes. The only challenge will be to find some cunt who will play along like the cunt they get rid of. Ten million quid should take care of that easily enough.

My impression is that the hardcore Wenger out agitators (who we should all be apologising to on bended knee) have concluded their work is done regarding Wenger and it's just a matter of time. Could be spin for Wenger. He may have asked his old pal Stan for a new team.

But if we sell everyone off and he's left to work with what we have, I dunno. Maybe they've had a change of heart and crunched the numbers on how much he's wasted. If they only care about money, they should be looking at it that way. But I'm not even sure it's even about greedy. Seems more like a misplaced loyalty to manager well passed his best.
