Fucking nackered this morning! Worth it though, great match.
Muzza.
I thought he had cracked but fair play to him for powering back.
Britian doing well in sport.
I'm feeling generous. Well done Muzza!
On a general note though, I wonder if some of the courts need to be quickened again - I'm not suggesting as fast as grass but not have them dog slow either, the tournament organisers will want the big epic matches and I suppose so do the viewers but for the players? There can't be much longevity in the game for those big matches if it's always such a grind for them against each other.
that was absolutlely amazing. there was a rally in the 4th set that was almost superhuman in how novak managed to keep returning the ball from the corners.
epic just about covers that game.
This is where the pressure really is, they say winning your 1st one is not the problem its the ones after that. Muzza will be buzzing going into the aussie open but it would nt be a shocked if he got knocked out by some one like del P tbh.
Who knows but when Nadal is fully fit, he will be up there again, novak will want revenger for this and may see the ausie open as the way to get it. lets not forget he has won it 3 times already and will be wanting that no 1 status back.
Im sure muzza may get more slams but not more then the other 3 imo. Some may say he has been lucky or has had a lucky route.
jesus christ, let the man enjoy his win.
he is the first man for over 70 years and straight away he's being dismissed from winning another.
murray finally does it
and to do it on clay
