terry and carroll are probably pretty worried tonight.

suarez has admitted he used that spanish word which i think means black or something similar. either way it seems hard to separate use of that word from something offensive in the context of a competitive match, it's not exactly the arena for a one on one conversation about each others heritage.

blokes will say all kinds of scummy things to upset someone else but it doesn't make them racist unless it's something they believe or part of their outlook on life. wouldn't be surprised he said something to only wind him the fuck up, the world cup and general conniving in the prem fits the profile. (although, what a player).
