Only four English teams will be in the Champions League. All four would automatically qualify if Chelsea won it (Chelsea as defending Champions).

Yes there was. 50 seconds in
Are you sure you saw the right goal?
It was a very good goal and any goal like that will have elements of shite defending but when everyones beloved Messi does it, everyone spunks over him even though thats down to defenders being too scared to touch him in case of punishment from the ref, FA, UEFA and FIFA rather than any talent the **** shows himself.
When Ben Arfa does it, its down to shite defending
GW
It was a great goal but one of the last defenders ran away from him, in that situation you've got to be prepared to take him out if needs be. By running away, that created a huge gap for him to just run through. Brilliant intial turn and burst of pace but naff defending at the end made it a simple enough task to finish.
Bollox Messi does it against the best in the world and almost ever game he plays in, Ben arfa did it againt Wheater and some shite yank defender.
Reason why everyone is no spunking over it is because its not the goal of the season the commentators and were saying it was.
However it was a great goal.
It's a very good goal but Messi does this week in week out in La Liga, and let's not talk about players being too afraid to tackle him, I've seen Messi receive very bad tackles in Spain.
Just the one match today
Blackburn v Liverpool
Losing manager gets sacked match?
Will Kenny rest players as the Semi is due at the weekend?
No. Kenny won't be sacked. If he leaves it will be at the end of the season
And probably 2/3.
It's the actual running at the players that causes the so-called "bad defending" though. When a player is running with the ball at that pace, it's insanely hard to defend against, causes panic, indecision etc, and that's what messi does on a constant basis and makes defenders around him look like chumps.
Great, great goal.
I don't expect to win, put it like that.
We've gone from looking decent and not being able to score, to not being able to play at all. Our signings haven't helped things.
Only Bellamy, Suarez and to a certain extent Enrique can be classed as good signings. Says a lot when Bellamy only has one working knee. Can't really comment on Doni and Coates is too young to judge. The rest have been shite. Carroll will probably go down as one of/the worst transfer of all time, which sums things up. Henderson looks scared and is consistently played out of position. Adam was never any good and is as mobile as a tub of lard. Downing is a confidence player and when he plays on the right realises he is a premier league player.
Frankly it's hard to defend him. Hopefully we're at the bottom of the trough, but I don't think we are.
The above post may also be true, though I also think he's too close to the club.
The FA have rejected QPR's appeal of Shaun Derry's red card.
Well FA does stand for Ferguson assossiation :)
In more sensible news, Ivanovic has been charged with violent conduct.
He will. Formality.
Doni, Flanagan, Skrtel, Coates Johnson, Henderson, Shelvey, Spearing, Maxi, Carroll, Bellamy
Good lord.
Should be a Blackeye win really.
Never thought I'd say that about a pub team vs Liverpool.
Good line-up.
Bellamy, Carroll and Spearing are good players. Can see a Liverpool win.
(edit: for the benefit of NGiBbles, I am not being sarcastic)
Graham Taylor defending Ashley Young
Alan Green says it like it is and calls him a diver and a cheat and says if Suarez had done that, he'd be vilified
