We aren't selling anyone to Man Utd. Chill the fuck out and man the fuck up.
More worryingly, there appear to be no takers yet for Dennis Bendtner and Statinho.
Exploratoy talks
Could go down in transfer nonsense legend.
Wenger you stupid fuck don't sell to unitedddddddd
Quote:
If Wenger sells Nasri to United he should be sacked.
and if it is for the amount quoted then you may have a case and I will take back all that I have said about how I think people should not be calling Wenger 'certain names'Quote:
Manchester United are planning a sensational £10million swoop for Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri.
although the decision will not be entirely Wenger's
So our two biggest transfer stories involving top players involve Cesc going to Barca and Nasri going to United. Apparently Liverpool are interested in Clichy too... lol.
The summer just keeps getting better and better...
Quote:
ARSENAL star Abou Diaby has risked the wrath of his own fans - by revealing he owns a TOTTENHAM shirt.
And the French midfielder, 25, admits he wears the strip of the Gunners' arch-rivals - given to him by pal and Spurs defender Younes Kaboul - around his house.
He said: "It's more difficult to wear in the street. There you are not safe."
Diaby has not ruled a potential north London switch for either he or France team-mate Kaboul.
He said: "It would be good to play for the same club one day."
Wenger has already said that Nari won't go to Utd.
Where are there any quotes about Clichy going to Liverpool?
Have you guys never been involved in a transfer window at Arsenal before?
You can't trust Wenger to replace outgoings adequately, he's always full of excuses about not signing players who aren't better that what we have and then gets players like Silvestre, Koscielny, Chamakh and Squillaci.
The guy talks so much sh*t these days it's untrue, it wouldn't be too hard to find players better than what we have in problematic positions.
That's the problem really, you don't really have any faith in his ability in the transfer market. The problem is not really players wanting out, it's that you can almost guarantee the players coming in will be average in comparison.
Arsene very recently came out and said that he had total Control of his technical staff so I assume that means playing staff too.
The board would never sell a player without Arsene's consent, I'm pretty sure of that.
MO & ItsMe have pretty much covered my main concern if Nasri goes, Arsene will try & replace him on the cheap or probably not replace him at all and defiantly state that Vela or some other project needs to develop.
i think he's made it clear he doesn't want to sell him and id be surprised if he does this year - i still think that if the board saw business sense in taking some money instead of nothing they may well decide to do so without his consent.
Rubbish. Wenger wouldn't stand for that.
Rovers demanding more dosh!

cheers
Those Venkys' are expert hagglers...
lol at these last few pages.
Jeez.
A clearout is what is needed, it's what many wanted, and I don't give a fuck about nasri or clichy.
It's 99 percent Bullshit anyway, but if we end up selling on mass, I'll be quite content. The air is stale at the club, and mass changes are what is needed.
We want a change right? We ain't getting rid of Wenger, right? Therefore, clear the decks and build a fucking team with some bollocks. It may not happen, but this seems to me the best and most radical option, short of changing manager.
Something needs to happen at this club, and if it means wholesale changes, I'm well up for it. We might get our Arsenal back.
We're not making changes. We're following the same pattern as the 2008 season collapse. Sell off key first team players and replace them with youngsters.
No player is bigger than the club. Sorry, but like adebayor, if they want out, they can fuck off, and I don't give a shit about the money. We're well run enough to cope with that.
There will be hell to pay if they are not replaced properly, granted, but we're in early June, and I'd rather shit saga's involving mercenary gobshites, who, let's not forget were partly the reason for our collapse, fuck off nice and early.
All we can do is wait and see, frustrating as it is. But let's wait for the summer to pan out, and if things haven't been righted properly, he'll have tied his own noose, and he'll be hounded out, sorry and sad and bitter as it will be.
:gp:
I was a little sickened hearing the news that utd's advisors had meet with Nasri's (the cunt) and that Clichy might be off as well as Cesc.
However.
Reports this morning say that we are after Samba & Cahill, also Gervinho & Hazard, add to that Alex O-C, Jenkinson and This Alvarez chap and if we made a push and got them all, I wouldnt be to worried tbh.
Of course this is probably all bollox and we'll end up with some more kids
That's exactly what was said in 2008. Hleb, Flamini and Ade's form dipped towards the end of the season and they couldn't raise their game to help us win the title. It's the same pattern with the same argument. The same was said when Henry, Pires, Gilberto and Ljunberg were flopping...let the kids have a go. They've had a go and it's the same collapse.
We should be trying to strengthen the squad.
Oh, I agree, don't get me wrong.
All I'm saying is that we can't do anything but wait until the summer runs it's course. Like I said, if it hasn't been sorted, he'll get hounded out. I should imagine he knows this by now.
If Nasri goes, we won't be selling Cesc. Barca are the only team we'll sell to for that one, and if they don't stump up the cash, 45 mil, they won't get him. Pure and simple.
Mate. Clichy has been responsible for some howlers, and is not getting any better. I've wanted rid of him for a couple of years now.
Nasri has shown his true colours, and good as he is, he can also fuck off. He showed he didn't have the appetite. He wants to hold the club to ransom, and he's a fucking lezzer. Get rid. Find people who want to play for us.
I want quality and experience mind, so if he does replace with kids, I'll go fucking mental.
Yeah, Flamini and Hleb have lit the world up with their performances since then so that was a bad move.
Players are going to leave and they're going to be replaced, we're in a completely different situation now as we actually have money to spend with impunity (well, as much as you can have without an Arab ofc) so I'd suggest relaxing and ignoring a lot of the bollocks that goes on as well as remembering that Wenger isn't actually as stupid as you think he is.
From BBC:
http://www.marca.com/2011/06/10/futb...307683781.htmlQuote:
1010 BST: Barcelona have offered 30m euros plus striker Bojan Krkic and midfielder Thiago Alcantara to Arsenal in exchange for skipper Cesc Fabregas.
I think Cesc maybe going
Wenger was reluctant to sell them and his philosophy is based on stability and keeping team together. Steady progression. The following season we had a real nightmare and lot of fighting in the squad. The 2008 season was our best in years and the first time we finished on 80+ points. We haven't topped that total since they left. As individuals, they may not have lit up the world, but they worked in the squad and we don't know what could have been if we had built on that team. They haven't done much since leaving us but we haven't either. Works both ways.
Yes fucking plzzz
Well, that's true, most things tend to go both ways and I tend to think Flamini leaving set us back a fair bit as his game was well suited to us. They've been replaced with better players now though, which is the way of things so whilst I agree it's a repeating pattern I just tend to think that it's the natural way and if someone wants to find problems in it, they will.
No thanks, Bojan is too lightweight to play a central role in a 4-3-3. And Thiago would want to go back to Barcelona after a few years with us. Give is Keita, Afellay etc instead.
