the only way to guarantee transfers coming in of top quality players in the positions we need is to take Wenger out of the negotiation process. Which is not really a slight on wenger as such but managers in general have no business in that regard, it should be a case of "Arsene give us a list of players you want in order of preference and we will go and make it happen"
That's already how it happens.
no it isn't, although we have Dick Law who does the transfer negotiations on our behalf, it is well known that Wenger gets directly involved in the process and has before pulled plugs on deals because he has had second thoughts or does not think the club is getting value for money.
Dick Law has come out of negotiations with a club and a player's agent and has had to report directly back to Wenger.
