Hope you're right Mac cos this is one signing I've wanted for a while. The guy was outstanding against us and at only 23 and with the experience of captaining his side, reckon he will be an excellent CB for years to come.

I'd be surprised if we were to end up with him now though. We've signed too many CB's recently for Wenger to sign another. It would have seemed on the face of it a Wenger style signing all day long.

I think you have to use the term CB loosely in this case, cos they're hardly proper defenders!
