Apart from maybe Santos in for Gibbs (depending on Gibbs' injury), I think that will be the team.
Personally I'd go with Oxlade instead of Gervais. We could find ourselves with a cracking player if he plays himself in for a long innings. A bit hit-and-miss (lately miss) with him at the moment - which is expected at his age - but he still has that match-winning ability. Gervais is just a penis.
Carthorrla might only be at 50% but he'll have to start. Probably won't need him to run around anyway. Just needs to stand on the centre circle and spray it around.
Szczesny (2-3 weeks recurring), Fabianski (3 months), Sagna (1 week?), Whalechore (We must await the little burst), Rosicky (2-3 weeks until 2-3 more weeks), Diaby (little bit dead again), Walcott (2-3 weeks to arrange his move to Liverpool where he'll replace Borini on the wing), Gibbs (?), Frimpong (lethal niggle).
By the time the United game comes around, I'd expect only Sagna out of and Mannone, Mertesacker, Podolski and Court Stroller in to the treatment room.
Norwich will surely not be as bad as they have been v Chelsea and LiverpoolQuote:
Norwich were beaten 4-1 by Chelsea before the international break but I think that scoreline was harsh on them.
The problem the Canaries have, though, is that when something goes against them in a game then one or two of their players just seem to accept it.
Last season that wouldn't have happened - they stayed in games until the end and always gave themselves a chance to nick a point or three with a late goal.
They showed that against Arsenal when they got a point with a late equaliser after a topsy-turvy game at the Emirates Stadium, while the Gunners had to come from behind to win at Carrow Road too, through a Robin van Persie double.
Since then, Arsenal have improved and Norwich haven't. Their performances have deteriorated and they are on the slide.
So I fancy the Gunners to go to Carrow Road and be too strong, too quick and have too much footballing ability for Chris Hughton's side to deal with.
Prediction: 0-2
Scrappy win for us imo
Gibbs is out for this
Wilshere is in the squad.
Wumger
He'll probably get a run out if the game is safe.
Holt will sit on him.
Koscielny out too.
Szczesny, Koscielny, Sagan and Gibbs form the basis of a pretty good defence.
At least Wilf Sheer is back.
Wiltshore and Curtzowler in the same team .
0-4
giroud x 2, podolski and santos
