Because I choose not to.Quote:
Yes. Otherwise why aren't you or I earning millions a year at a top club?
That's all very well and I agree with a good deal of that (especially Parker, I think he could add something to us) but with personalities like Denilson/Bendtner/Almunia on the way out and a few stronger guys (imo) coming into the squad, like Miyachi/Frimpong?Lansbury, guys that have always looked committed, I think we're stronger in that department.
I simply disagree with your assessment of Vermaelen, sure he pushes forwards from the back but you can see him trying to organise out there and urging people on, that's what a 'leader at the back' should do imo, and incidentally, not something Cahill is especially good at from what I've seen, he can take care of himself though which is a step-up from Squillaci.
Rookies. Fair enough everyone has to start somewhere but the question is whether these guys will stand up when the going gets tough. They might, they might not. Wenger is rolling the dice again and hoping for a different result. Two of these kids have been brought up the Arsenal way (TM), which is a bit worrying.Quote:

It's the same with anyone we bring in, it's a risk either way but from what I've seen these guys have the right attitude over the guys on the way out, it might not be enough but it's an improvement and if the CB on his way has the right attitude too then we'll be even closer to the point of non-collapse.
