For all the rain this Test has suffered, there have been enough overs bowled to warrant a result had players been forced to play quicker instead of making sure their average looked good.
50 overs an innings and watch Tests rise again from the ashes and be popular once more.

Fact of the matter is, England won a Test series. yay. Teams do that every series.
When it matters, they flopped. World Cups come along every 4 years and especially after their T20 win last year, they would have wanted the big one.
