3rd - if Chelsea win the C.L, 4th if they don't.
Basically, the bare minimum to qualify again for it next season.
How has this got so tight?????
Spurs and newcastle are one point behind
I can see us dropping points at home to Norwich
A blend of injuries and shitness
Can see us finishing 5th if we don't get a result in our next match
Need 6 points from the final two games now. Spurs have started playing again and will probably get two wins - Aston Villa are shite and Fulham have nothing to play for. Saying that, neither do Norwich or WBA, our opponents.
I reckon we need 2 wins.
Getting worried now.....
We're winning the next 2 anyway so it's a moo point.
theo daydreaming again
Very tight now, let's hope we put in a couple of decent performances rather than the mediocre ones we've put in recently.
We'll be fine.
Worried.
I don't think Newcastle will beat City. Even if they draw and we beat Norwich then they're out of it as our goal different is significantly better. Spurs are starting to get it together. Villa are awful but they're not safe so surely will battle on Sunday...but you could say the same about Bolton tonight. If Spurs draw then they're not out of it as even if we win our GD is only one better and unless we give Norwich a real pasting it'll be pretty close and could swing on the last day.
If we don't beat Norwich then we're screwed and if we do then we don't deserve to finish in the top 4. If we do beat them then we're very close to limping over the line but it's looking like we might well need something on the last day.
It's in our hands but we're such a butterfingers that doesn't comfort me. In brief: Argh!
Hopefully West Brom players won't be arsed on the final day with Woy going.
And Jol gets his revenge.
4th and the most nervous cup final viewing of all time awaits.
Hmm, Bayern will be better off financially (it's claimed) if they lose the final...

Need that 3rd place, lol

But the German side would then immediately owe every penny of that bonus cash to Schalke and Hoffenheim.
When Schalke sold Germany international goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer to Bayern last summer, they inserted a cheeky "on-pitch success" clause which entitled them to massive cash bonuses based on how well the goalie's new club did.
Schalke are already due 2 million for Bayern having reached the semi-finals, but they will be due a further 4 million from the Bavarian giants if they lift the trophy in two weeks' time.
And it doesn't stop there. Hoffenheim struck a smaller but otherwise almost identical deal with Bayern after they sold Luiz Gustavo for 17 million euros in January 2011.
Hoffenheim have already picked up a 1 million euro bonus for the Munich side making the semi-finals, and they'll be due another 2 million if their rivals win the trophy.
That means that Bayern's entire 9 million prize money would be wiped out at a stroke - and also means that, financially speaking, they'd be better off pocketing the 5.6 million euros offered to the runner-up.
They wouldn't be better off when Beckenbauer, Rummenigge and Hoeness get their hands on the team.
Typical arsenal under wenger these days!!!
80.77% of us look like being wrong. Impressive, even for GW. Even more so that we'd be wrong by being overly optimistic!
I'm one of the 7.69%
