That tactic worked for them cos the refs refused to punish them.
We have no such luck. Our players will be sent off before Fergie can have his first gum in his mouth

The club are discussing whether to give a guard of honour or not.

RAWK is available to post on if you want to talk about leg snapping and other assaults with regards to a match.
Not here thanks.
After the match, fine. Before, I think it's stupid.
Gotta give the guard of honour. I remember Liverpool doing it for us at Anfield a few years ago (well about 10 years ago :( )
Can we give them a chinese burn of honour instead?
It's a very bitter pill to swallow but I don't have a problem with us doing it really.
We're hopefully still a classy club, and the champions should be given a gaurd of honour.
Hopefully it might show a few of our lot what they're missing out on!
RVC should be booed throughout though.
Agree wholeheartedly - do what's right and oblige the champs, regardless it's the scourge from Manchester, a guard of honour. By all means, they really aren't our rivals anymore, so that should reduce the nauseating effects.
However, the Judas **** should be made to know just what a Judas **** he is in no uncertain terms.
United have been dodgy throughout the whole season . i's a surprise they winning the league this season . Maybe because the whole league has been utter shit . The proof is no English team made the 1/4 final of the champions league . It's not accidental . It's a fact .
If we lose that game we will have only ourselves to blame . I can't see anything than home win or a dodgy draw . Most of united players are off-form : Rooney , Young is out , Van Persie will be under pressure and will not be at his best .
Their defense is a calamity to happen . Are we going to be their destroyers ? I wish but we don't have that mental strength at the moment . But if we push them and put them under pressure , the result could go our way . A 1-0 or 2-1 victory on the cards .
Who cares, just do the guard of honour. Chelsea had to do one for Dong Fangzhou so maybe they'll wheel out Bebe for us.
We should only do this guard of honour shit if they agree to buy Wilshere on the cheap. Otherwise fuck them.
This is going to be an utterly horrible day.
Pre match interview with RVC saying how his dream has come true since moving to Manure but he'll always respect Wenger and he's like a father to him.
Fergie gloating.
Endless cock sucking from the Sky crew.
And then we get to the match...
We'll huff and puff for about 8 minutes and then we'll fold and boy will we fold.
I'm still going to watch it, except from the build up, because I expect nothing from it and if we pull off a shock win it's a massive bonus.
Il miss the pre match shit as I'm going to this. However il see the guard of honour.
How humiliating that will be
Then again I might not

FFS just clap the ****s, show some class for once  but spit on RvC if he's in range tho ;)
I'm sure they'll get their guard of honour, but they'll also get booed to fuck while it's happening.
Dont know if this has been done or not because I havent looked through the previous pages but Arseblog has given us a wasp to chew on regarding Girouds replacement against Manure. . .spot on about Walcott and even more so about the fools that threw a party over Big Sexys ted card and subsequent suspension

We should give them a guard of honour, it's the classy thing to do.
But most fans will undoubtedly boo their heads off which will make us look like a load of classless dicks.
I don't have a problem with a guard of honor. The Mancs did so for us.
Can we meet them halfway and just put on a DVD of the Patrick Dempsey movie Made of Honor?
It means shit and stuff like this is only demanded so the dishonourable pricks who run and promote the game can claim there's honour and sportsmanship in it. Like fuck there is. Same as all the knickers wetting over handshakes and the hysteria over Suarez. Behind the scenes it's a nest of corruption from FIFA all the way down. Grubby little ****s stuffing their pockets. But on the surface it's this one giant pretence. Give them their guard of honour, it's meaningless anyway. When players stop diving and trying to get their opponent sent off, when they stop fucking the fans up the arse so they can get more cash at a deadly rival, when the owners remember who actually pays the bills, when they stop herding slaves into factories in the far east to make their merchandise, when they stop giving the World Cup to tinpot shit holes because the bribery benefits are greatest there, then there will be some honour and then this honour guard thing will mean a fuck.
The fans shouldn't rise to the bait. When Utd come out just don't do anything. Be silent. Say nothing. That works on another level too. Silence will tell our board what we think about them as our once greatest assets runs out on the opposition side having fired our rivals to a title. And it will maybe help our manager remember the fan's interests extend beyond the balance sheet. And it will help our players remember that gutless fucks get no glory or acknowledgement. Fuck, why not be silent for the whole game? The new breed of fans who can afford to go to these most honourable events should have no problem with that.
Our last 10 vs United in all comps.
LDLLLLWLLL
Reckon we'll win this.

Arsenal v Man Utd
I don't think this will be a great match.
Manchester United have sealed the title so for manager Sir Alex Ferguson team selection will be crucial. You would never question his players' attitudes, but there may be one or two looking forward to the beach.Quote:
"I remember winning the title with Liverpool with nine or 10 games to go. We were hopeless in those last few games. The league was a slog, but it was the best competition to win. However, it was difficult once we had won it because we came down off a big high. It's hard to continue at 100%. It only needs a couple of guys to think 'we've already won it' and the performance levels drop."
There will be chat about going for a total points record, however after many weeks of "come on, we have to win", the championship race is now over so there might not be that edge in forthcoming performances.
It will be interesting to witness the 'guard of honour' Arsenal put on for United. I'm sure the natives will get restless, especially when their former hero Robin van Persie comes through.
Performing one for Tottenham is the only thing worse for the Gunners.
Lawro's prediction: 1-1
