Question for people regarding the Tube strike - I'm coming from the west country over for a game and normally I drive to Cockfosters tube station park and get the tube down from there but with the Piccadilly line strikes would it be smart for me to go another way in???
If so anyone got any ideas?
Back to the thread hope we don't rest too many players I don't think we can afford to change 3 of the back 4 personally, Arteta should play and 2 of the original back 4. Ramsey, Giroud and Walcott should start - and I would start with 2 from Cazorla, Wilshere and Ozil. If we score early by all means rest Ozil and Giroud in the second half.
Barry
Maybe drive to somewhere near Barnet and get the Northern Line down to Kings Cross, then change for the Victoria Line.
I suppose I better leave work early too
https://maps.google.co.uk/ , get directions.
Put where you're likely to park at as your starting point, and the the emirates stadium as B.
Click public transport, and avoid any piccadily line routes.
Victoria line to Highbury & Islington for me.
Just get a lift in WMUGs helicopter.
Which one?
A planned strike on Wednesday by workers on London Underground's Piccadilly Line suspended after progress in talks.
-BBC.
:woohoo:
I would love to see Gnabry and Walcott start. Gnabry, after making waves in the games he played has been completely lost in the background... WTF!?
Gnabbers might be one of the first players on against Napoli, if they need to score four or something.
We've got Andre Marriner for this. I have him pegged down as one of the better refs in the PL so hopefully no dodginess.
Wasnt he the one who awarded the late peno to Chelsea against West Brom cos he is a Villa fan?
Baldrick would.
As for 'resting' players, unless they are exhausted or carrying injuries then play them all, if we're interested in seeing Wenger lift that PL trophy we keep a winning team together. Then when a few goals up Giroud etc can leave early, but not before then.
Don't be stupid.
If you want to win the title you need to rotate accordingly. Fergie was the master of it.
You can't expect players to play every game. It defeats the point of having a squad. And now we finally have some squad depth, it would be stupid to run certain players into the ground.
We need these lot fresh for the christmas fixtures so I expect a few changes tonight.
Arsenal team to play Hull City: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Ramsey, Rosicky, Cazorla, Ozil, Bendtner
FFS !!
Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Ramsey, Rosicky, Cazorla, Ozil, Bendtner
Dennis Bendtner :haha:.
WUMger .
3-0
Bendtner Hat-trick
Why not just play Theo or Gnabry there? Or do a Spain. Even keeping Bendtner around makes no sense, never mind starting him.
WUMger gonna WUM.
Bendtner to save us.
Scored a winner against Hull last time he played against them.
He's dog shite, he won't even make any runs ffs. And Hull will park the bus.
Rather have a match short Feo upfront than this waste
Steve Bruce aka Bus Driver
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOO..... Seriously why do Wenger keep giving him chances!? The guy had 2 chances and super-mega ruined them both, even off the field he's still the old stupid cunt. Might aswell give some of the youngsters playing time or put Walcott up there.
Bruce did say they would attack us.
We'll find out in the first 5 minutes I suppose.
Bruce .Quote:
Hull City boss Steve Bruce on starting with two strikers, Yannick Sagbo and Danny Graham:
"Is it foolish? I just think if you don't cause them a threat they will break you down.
"We have been defensive before and sometimes you come away and regret it. It might be a bit foolish but we want to give it go."
Theo would theoretically have a field day with the potential space available.
Come on Qui-Gon Jinn you moran. Do something useful.
Bendtner to score the first and winning goal for Arsenal. :coffee:

Our saviour.
FFS Bendtner as Giroud is in my FFL team.
Expect him to score tho.
That's a horrific lineup. Hope Ramsey and Ozil get us the three points.
Why not start Walcott instead that piece of shit Bendtner? It's not like Bendtner can do anything better than him.
Dennis Bendtner's Redemption.
One thing we've learned is that Wenger really, really doesn't like Theo as a striker.
Theo: "Let me play CF more or I'll leave"
Wenger: "OK I will"
*Theo signs a new contract*
Wenger: "LMAO sucker!"

WUMger
I get that but what can Bendtner do better than Walcott?
Hold up the ball? No. First touch? No. Finish? No. The only thing I can think of is that he'd maybe be better at clearing corners. Great....
Well he can hold the ball up better, but thats about it...
