Damn I didn't think the FA Cup meant that much, lump in the throat :scarf:
It's a joke that on ticket tout sites like craigslist , loads of tickets for the final are going for £1000+
Bet the FA are selling them themselves
Come on you rip roaring Gunners!
Great promo!
Arsenal.
I'm watching this at The Emirates :scarf:
FABS FOR THE FINAL!
this is our next game.
makes a change from the usual bricking on final day for fourth place to actually bricking it over winning the FA Cup
There's no way we're losing this.
Hull are awlful.
And we're pretty good again.
They'll probably carve out less chances than Wigan.
Which was barely one.
If we don't have a mental block again, this should be about 0-3.
Week long cup final build up. Just like the good old days.
:patrice:
I don't understand why it is necessary for the kick off to be early evening
I remember I missed the 2004 fa cup final as I chose to go to the park to play football, hoping to come back and watch it from kick off. Come home and United are lifting the trophy  .
Cup finals are as a general rule shit
I can think of maybe one or two decent finals in my living memory.
Even when the two teams are mismatched there is a cagey ness about the games because neither side wants to lose.
This final wont buck that trend
Hull will stick 11 men behind the ball and play for time, either to take one chance from a set piece opportunity or play for the lottery of penalties.
I think this game will be largely similar to our cup final against Southampton, scrappy affair...and decided by one goal. I think we will score in the second half look to push on for a seco d but lose confidence and pull back and Hull will be camped in our final third for the last ten minutes, and whilst jubilant when the final whistle goals frankly we will be glad it's all over.
Goalscorer?....Hmm Ozil, it seems somehow appropriate that our most expensive signing ends the trophy drought
Just got tickets.
Daddy
I'm gonna go for something a bit different
All the pressure is on us
Hull are the underdogs
Our players love to bottle it on the big occasions
3-0
Ozil hattrick
If you look at the 2 teams and form then we should win this comfortably. However, its a cup final and form will not count for anything. They are missing their 2 decent players whom where available when we beat them 3-0 a few weeks ago.
We really just need to turn up and perform, i cant see us losing this especially since whats happended before in cup finals. The players should be up for it and confident. It all points to an Arsenal win.
Realistically it will be cagey unless we score early. Hull dont have the players to trouble us if we apply ourselves on the game. No new injuries going into the game and the players should be realtively fresh.
As for the team, i'm not sure who will start in goal but the rest of the team will probably be
Sagna, Kos, Mert, Gibbs, Ramsey, Arteta, Ozil, Carzorla, Giroud, Podolski.
Bench will be quite strong with Ox, Wilshere and Rosicky to call on if needed.
this could be 3-0 or a cagey 1-0 win.
Wenget says there's no new injury concerns.
Oxlade and Verm doubts though.
Ramsey hattrick
I'm not even nervous for this.
We're gonna win :scarf:
Yes we beat them recently and they are a bit shit but cup finals are very different to league games and there are no "rea;" underdogs.
Birmingham beat us in the 2011 CC final when most of us thought we'd walk it, Wigan beat City last year after they were relegated and Bradford/Bburn did us last season too so im not counting my chickens just yet.
