If that what's fit (## #rainbowlaces) I'd swap Flamini and Wiltshire, Ox doesn't track back like terrier Alexis and Flamini might as well get his red card whilst weakening one of their many playa on that side.

Ozil is available but Savage says that he'd drop him
I'd play Rosicky too
Seaman
Dixon
Adams
Keown
Winterburn
Ljungberg
Petit
Vieira
Pires
Henry
Bergkamp
If we dont play Ozil in his best position:10. Then its all a waste. Ramsey and Wilshere cant be accommodated at the same time as Ozil. It simply doese`nt work.
To be fair I'd drop Ramsey for this game, if he picked up a knock in midweek really just not worth it (when you consider that we have Dortmund mid week). I'd play Ox on the left Sanchez on the right and (sigh) Welbeck up front with a midfield three of Wilshere, Ozil and Flamini.
Ramsey can come off the bench with twenty minutes to go to give us fresh legs, and probably score.
2-1 to us I reckon
------------- Ches -----------
- Debbie - Boss - BFG - Manuel (weak link)
- Alexis - Arts - Santi - Rambo(if fit)/Jack
------------- Oz -------------
------------ Welbz -----------
Match day - COYG :scarf:
I think he was probably one of our better players just think the way he was lauded as world class was laughable....he was a decent midfielder who could score goals, he certainly wasn't at the level of Pires....or anywhere near for that fact. And if i am being massively critical i'd say he actually had one good season for us.
Ramsey is fit and passed a fitness test (goal.com)
Get in!
That was fast..

Arsenal: Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Wilshere, Ramsey, Alexis, Özil, Welbeck.
Subs: Ospina, Chambers, Gibbs, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Podolski.
Man City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernandinho, Lampard, Navas, Silva, Milner, Aguero.
SSN drone is having a stinker. Said we lost 2-0 to Palace last season and Danny Welbeck is a new signing for Manchester United. :haha:
Hayley McQueen is having a mare too. Must be drunk.
Oh dear - just about as negative a team selection as possible. Whilshere and Flamini  Fucking irritating considering we are at home and we beat them in the last meeting. Really surprised Arteta isn't playing because our ball retention will drop off a cliff with Flamini in there. Doubly surprised he's gone with Monreal if Gibbs is fit. Can only see Ozil playing on the left again given that line up. Total waste. What he's basically done is slotted Welbeck into the same shit formation and then added a sprinkle of negativity. Alexis will have to do it all on his own today if we are to get a result.
Wearing my 06 Highbury shirt
Can't wait for the game lol
Ridiculous isn't it, i also don't think Wilshere and Ramsey play well together and one of them should be dropped (for me it should be Ramsey a) as he picked up a knock midweek and has had less rest time and b) didn't exactly play well for us in August well as Wilshere played out of his skin against Besiktas). Should be rotating more, Wilshere starts today and Ramsey starts in Dortmund.
Seems that City have abandoned 4-4-2....still fancy our midfield against theirs....Lampard??...seriously
Lampard!!! I didn't see that - :haha: WTF?
Arteta is so slow at distributing the ball once we win possession back in our own half, it breaks down any possibility of a counter attack. But so does having Ramsey and Wilshere in midfield...Ramsey can't play behind the striker neither can Wilshere, so MC Hammer will be feeding on scraps.
Where's Sagna?
That's what I said, Alexis will have to have a blinder.
Arteta is the best passer in the league. He's only slow if people are doing fuck all ahead of him, which with Ozil left and nobody supporting the striker is almost always. Ozil should be central behind Welbeck, that would give Arteta a constant option. Ramsey should play wide left so he can cover Monreal. It's very irritating to see the same shit over and over for every game. This fucked up formation didn't work against Leicester, do we think the gypos will be an easier nut to tip-tap to death? I feel sorry for Welbeck because he'll be up for it today, he'll cut a lone figure though. Cazorla should be playing too.
This is a stupid fucking line up.
I just find that most of our counter attacks break down because of him, i am not disputing how good he is at passing but the problem is mainly he has to get the ball on his left foot all the time which eats up time that gives the opposistion time to get back.
Monreal and Debuchy need to drop deeper and stop the crosses coming in...and should in a better starting line leave Sanchez and Ox to bomb forward.
Cazorla can't play on the left either, so really it's a case of dropping either him or Ozil

I'm guessing his brother is his agent

Welbeck has never scored against Manchester City.
Apart from that FA Cup game when he scored, Stelling.
Never been a fan off Jack and Ramsey playing together, and Ozil out wide is a very risky against a team like City
Navas vs Monreal. Which made it essential not to play Ozil left. But we're just blundering into it again.
