Dennis Bergkamp appointed assistant manager at Ajax. Will also oversee Academy. Superb experience. Good luck, Iceman.

Bergkamp
Arsenals greatest ever player
Watched a programme on him the other day - we were privileged to have him on the team, and as much as I like a good moan about ticket prices, I'd pay double just to see this guy in his prime again.
The best Arsenal player ever.
Purely as a player I'd say Henry edges it but I don't want to get into that debate.
Bergie gets extra points for finishing his career with us though.
One thing we can all agree on though, we were bloody lucky to watch a team with them both in at the same time.
Man we were good back then.
As much as I think Bergkamp was better - he was the catalyst for our change in style that led us to success, I would never be critical of anyone that thought Henry was our best ever.
On your final remark, 'amazing' hardly does how good we were justice, yet some Arsenal fans look back at that period as the benchmark for how we should be now, and that is simply unrealistic and unfair.
Next Arsenal managerQuote:
DENNIS BERGKAMP has been appointed Ajax's assistant boss.
The ex-Arsenal hero had been in charge of the youth system but has been promoted to first-team duties with former team-mate Frank De Boer.
Bergkamp, 42, has not yet signed a contract but took charge of first-team training yesterday.
Although he spent the first seven years of his career with the Dutch giants, he has made no secret of his desire to one day coach the Gunners.
He said: "I would advise everyone to work in England, as a player or a coach. It just breathes football."
Ajax striker Mounir El Hamdaoui, 26, who is wanted by Fulham, will be allowed to leave.
