No pace again. No game plan. Obviously Wenger likes this sort of pointless play because we keep doing it over and over and over. We have Ox, Alexis, Cazorla, Welbeck, all with pace. And they are stuck tip-tapping it around on one sod of turf on the edge of the box. Monreal and Chambers seem to have been assigned the key attacking roles, as priority over the defensive duties. Luckily Kos is back there charging left and right like a looney trying to mop things up.
Only highlight so far is Wanyama. 736 fouls without a yellow is impressive.
So much suck.
Lol just lol at me for thinking we'd turn on a bit of style tonight.
We've been playing like this since the Charity Shield. Everyone is worn out by it. The crowd just snoozes through the ordeal. What could Wenger possibly be seeing here that gives him encouragement and causes him to persist with this?
It's just awful.
Pretty dire stuff so far!!!
If you eat caviar every day it's difficult to return to Big Macs.
IF you eat Big Macs every day it's difficult to... anything.
This is sooooooo shit.
Not watching the game, how we doing?
Been quite impressed with Martinez.
Pretty nasty challenge by Santi.
Good.
Welbz has had a bit of a mare so far.
Soton look happy to cruise this out at the sedate tempo we are allowing them. All they have to do is jog around a bot and wait for our defence to commit suicide.
Santi puts a dent in the International space station.
It's a shame we didn't sign Ibra, Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, Maradona and Zidane when they wanted to come here. Would have been funny watching all those guys rendered useless in this pointless team.
Cazorla and Welbeck trying to outdo each other in woefulness.
This is :ilt:
That's just atrocious from Ramsey.
Our second tier striker is warming up. Mind you, he'd have to play incredibly badly to not be an improvement.
The boos from the Southampton fans are louder than the cheers from the home fans
Giroud for Ox.
Now if Ox is injured then okay. But if not then Wenger really has lost the plot. Of all the players he could have taken off.
Guess he showed a bit too much pace and purpose.
Not watching, is this better than the 1993 FA Cup Final replay v Sheffield Wednesday?
Some action!
Amazing coincidence that the crowd wakes up when the players do.
Forster having "the best game of his career"
Piss of Forster tbf.
Bif has transformed the game.
not watching the game seems the wise thing to do these days
don't even care that im missing it tbf (stuck at work though)
Wanyama has immunity from bookings. Quite handy.
