He looks decent. Won a lot of headers. Looks quick and sharp. It's just a case of forming a an understanding with the defence.
I was a bit disappointed with his performance last night. He couldn't cope with the movement of PSG's forwards and kept giving the ball away. Early days though so hopefully he'll get better the more he plays with Koscielny.
An unconvincing start but I'm sure he'll be fine once he's had enough time to gain an understanding with the back line.
Don't forget Kos was very erratic during his first couple of seasons.

I wasn't sure what he was doing on the right wing a couple of times. Sure, he's had RB experience but that made no sense at all. I thought he got better as the game went on and obviously the defence needs time to get used to playing together. My only concern is he seems similar to Kos and we all know how the partnership with Vermaelen worked out in the end.Quote:
