I caught some of the Southampton v City game last night and City were really poor. Admittedly they had a lot of their big hitters on the bench, but that team they put out was still a quality side who should / would beat most teams.
As others have said, it's looking like a Man Utd v Newcastle final which will be a decent game IMO.
It would certainly be useful for them to make the final, preferably with ET and pels to tire them out as much as possibleQuote:

Newcastle have been gash in 2023. One league win since December, and that’s it. They have been the better side but they were the better side against Liverpool and managed to self destruct within 15 minutes. It’s not going to get any easier for them with City up next
