Everton stay up!
To use Letter’s analogy of circling the drain, I can see a lot of teams doing that next season
Everton will be in battling relegation again unless serious investment is made, Bournemouth especially with the loss of Jefferson Lerma will struggle. Sheffield United and Luton will also struggle. Wolves will be gone I think, Lopetegui will go in the summer and I can see a lot of their players going as well.
Burnley I’m sorry to say I think will be safely mid table
So the title was still there to be won if only the boys who pretend to men were men?
Then again, what a shameful, shameful result for the gypos. Imagine signing off a title winning season like that? It shows how little respect they have for the fans. Title won, money banked, fuck the fans. And that's the best this truly dire league has to offer? The game's dead.
Watched the highlights of Southampton-Liverpool
How any Liverpool fan can have the bare faced cheek of claiming that Alexander Arnold can defend is beyond me. I mean really first of all Klopp has tried to make him a midfielder but he lacks the footballing intelligence to carry that off reliably. It’s actually embarrassing, you could maybe have a case for fraud under the Trade descriptions act
But then if Arsenal fans won’t admit Zinchenko is shit, why should Liverpool fans be any different. And at least Alexander Arnold is a good player going forward…should play as a winger, you don’t need much more than basic sentience to play there
Oh come on.
You know that City would have won today had they needed to. And if the title was on the line we'd never had won 5-0 today either.
This was end of season silliness all round, and City have one eye on both cup finals so with the title wrapped up it was an understandable training game for them today.
