If that was an away leg I’d say job well done but I think we missed an opportunity tonight and quite frankly we were found wanting at times too. Bayern had us on the counter and then after the equaliser dominated the ball a lot better than we did during the game.
I don’t see how the second leg ends with us winning but you live in hope I guess.

A disaster in terms of our chances of reaching the semi final but I’m not sure it will have a knock on effect in the league. I think we’ve got everyone’s number and I think we’re still likely to win games not being at our best, one would hope.
European football is just a different kettle of fish because no amount of scouting is going to truly have you prepped for teams you’ve rarely or never faced. It’s more a case of trying to learn on the job while domestically you’re so familiar with every opponent.
