Chelsea have retreated massively and I don't really get why.
Any time they come forward they can get through the Citeh midfield.

Gvardiol just wide!
Man City 1-1 Chelsea, Gvardiol.
Embarrassing from Chelsea.
1-1
City have totally changed their style of play. It's quite entertaining. Then again, the chavs are dire.
What were the gypos saying about us when we trounced them in that game the ref cheated in? Just like Stoke?
Well they are playing like 80s Wimbledon today. HOOF!
Much prefer it.
1-1 HT.
Haaland shot, Sanchez saves.
The defences here.
Back to pepball vs pepball - what a bore.
Mamoush misses again.
Man City 2-1 Chelsea.
What the fuck is Sanchez doing? :haha:
And back to Wimbledon and they get a goal. Chavs 1-2 Gypos, the big girly scored it.
Isn't that a red?
Surely that's a straight red, especially given VAR, Dean and the PL all confirming the new rule? Or is that it now? The rule has already been rescinded the moment after it popped into existence to be used against us?
That chav should be credited for staying on his feet in the box - most would have tumbled screaming and clutching their head.
Kovitic the once unbookable player gets booked for participating in Palmer's pre-planned dive.
Sanchez is so bad.
Have no idea how he’s their number one.
Man City 3-1 Chelsea, Foden.
Oh dear.
We now have ZERO chance in the match next week, regardless of how we play. They aren't going to pass up on a gypo comeback to inject some hype and feed the gambling habits.
Some of the superstars can't kick a ball, they are total shite.
Man City 3-1 Chelsea, FT.
Chelsea. :haha:
Halaand is a seriously weird looking git. Creepy as fuck.
The talk of Palmer being the best player in the league died quickly.
The new Bergkamp.
He’s a flat track bully take away free kicks and penalties his isn’t up to much.
Btw two goals and an assist for Gakpo yesterday, not bad for an 'overrated' player :haha:
Huh, I’m actually surprised it took you this long to make that comment
Also I think I made the point that I don’t regard him as overrated purely because you’re the only person I ever hear of who rates him that highly. Liverpool fans? They like him sure but I hear more about Salah, Diaz, Jota, Jones etc
But you’ll be equally surprised to learn that my opinion of him hasn’t drastically shifted as a result of a brace against Ipswich. Strange that
Sunday afternoon fixtures have started, must admit have absolute minimal interest barring an amusing upset for Leicester against Spurs.
Also I don’t like fixtures being played at 19:00 on a Sunday night (Fulham vs United), doesn’t feel right. But then I don’t like Saturday fixtures played at 20:00 or for that matter Friday evening fixtures
You play Saturday 15:00 or failing that Saturday lunchtime, Saturday teatime. Or Sunday afternoon. None of this Sunday lunchtime nonsense either. Monday night football is ok because that’s an established tradition.
Add that to the rest of the things I don’t like about the footballing calendar.
- Champions League fixtures in January
- FA cup midweek games (they are for replays only)
- Staggering the last 16 fixtures in the Champions League
- FA cup finals before the season has ended or moved to 17:30 kick off
- World cups in winter
They can't play that game on Saturday lunchtime, when it normally would be due to Man Utd's involvement in the Europa League.
And because it's the TNT game they can't just swap that in to the other slots today either.
There's nowhere else to put it and avoid a clash barring it be at 18:30.
Of course TNT could have just not chosen this game, knowing Man Utd were in the Europa League.
Tottenham 1-0 Leicester, Richarlison.
I’d argue it’s the fact that they are 15th in the table (which is especially low even for them) and whilst unlikely, their current form means Leicester who are battling for survival have a chance, makes it a more compelling fixture than Crystal Palace and Brentford. Both Palace and Brentford will be happy with a draw, so it’s more likely to be a stodgy, attritional game
Man United are currently in a bit of a death spiral with Amorim already. He was definitely appointed by the board with a long term view but whilst I don’t think they were expecting dramatic improvement over night relative to what was going on under Ten Haag, they couldn’t possibly have anticipated things would get this bad.
Plus United in terms of talent are nowhere, but they still have one of the biggest fan bases in the country. Plus for the casual observer it’s still a kick to see them struggle.
1-1 Vardy.
1-2 Leicester, El Khannouss.
:haha:
Leicester fans chanting “How shit must you be, we’re winning away”
I hope they stay up just for that
Take away the hilarity of Spurs losing this game. I think this result (assuming it stays that way which is a big IF) could be good for the league. I’ve said a lot about how badly it would reflect on the apparent stratification of the league if the three promoted clubs go down again. Southampton I think we can all agree are fucked, but Ipswich have shown twinges of life at times (beating Chelsea for instance) and if Leicester can do something. It pulls Wolves into a real dog fight against those two.
