Yup. In itself, and ignoring the other needs of the team, he's a pretty good signing.
Had it come on the back of two or three really top draw purchases, I'm sure everyone would be happy.
As it is, it's hard not to feel like Whelmed is on the top bunk, and we're all on the bottom.

I actually want him to start in the derby, think our 3 of Ramsey/Rosicky/Wheelchair are too weak defensively.
He's been training for 3-4 weeks, should be fine.
