If it wasn't for the fact that Ancelotti has publicly said he'd go on a year long hiatus if he leaves Madrid, I wouldn't have been that surprised. West Ham have quite a bit of money these days and I don't think Ancelotti cares that much about the status about a club when accepting a job (see PSG).
Two seasons running that we have won the goal of the season. You can't say we are boring!
In general though, I do think whoever comes in after wenger we will miss the beautiful and sexy football/goals.
Garth Crooks' team of the season:

Opening line: It has been a fantastic Premier League season.
:haha:
These pundits know shit about shit, they have their favourites and they buy into the bullshit from other pundits rather than what they see on a football pitch. Kos has been the best defender this season - by a margin. Anyone who bothers to watch football rather than read the media bullshit can see that.

I suspect Cazorla tops out the midfield too, haven't run the numbers but leaving the stats aside and thinking about Silva's season, or Fabregas', Cazorla surely emerges as the most influential for his team?
I'm betting Clyne is superior across the board to Inanovich.
Aguero would struggle playing with Kane and Costa, he'd be wasted.
Matic is horribly overrated, a decent and influential player but nowhere near the dominant force the pundits pretend.
But the one who really stands out is Kos. Our record when he has played, versus when he hasn't played is hugely revealing. He's had a massive influence on our season, as great an influence as any other player in the league. How he doesn't get a mention while everyone is banging on about Terry is either an indication of how biased these pundits are or else it reveals them as frauds.
Alexis was very, very good. Kos was our player of the season and possibly THE player of the season.
My gut instinct (from watching football rather than reading about it) turns out to be more than correct. I hadn't guessed Cazorla was quite so comfortably ahead of the others.

Our manager has some great players at his disposal. What a shame it's all so badly wasted.
Here's another one that shows how pundit myth prevails over evidence. Bear in mind, Alexis wasn't even our main striker.

After 38 games with the season done and dusted these stats take on significance.
The Ospina myth.

The media started putting the word around that Arsenal can't win anything with the current keeper, who has made very few errors. Maybe he's not a big name but he's nowhere near the liability the pundits would have you believe.
