January Transfers -- Speculation & Shit?

I don't know what the hell is going on. What was the point in front loading our marketing deals?

Why do people want Wenger to waste more of our money - that's what I don't get.

He spent 50 fucking mill or something in the summer and look where we are now! Which is why when he says 'some people think signing players is the answer to everything'. And he's right, because he did and things have only got worse and will continue under his tenure.

I know we're desperate and all but its not hard to figure out how effective his budget signings will be. I mean, diame? ffs. Might get us into 4th spot again - whoopsey fucking do.

I'm hoping something sparks the team into life but it sure as hell isn't going to be Wenget, so the next best thing is a new player or 2.

I get that in terms of a short term affect but what will we get in return? a 4th place spot? more wenget? more justification of his and the clubs policies? more of the same next season and beyond....it has to stop somewhere. long term any new budget signing will just fade into nothing as most of the others tend to.

I hate that it's the limit of our ambition so it annoys me to say it but we need 4th. I'd miss not being in the CL next year and if we ever want to step up a level, being in the CL is a box we need to keep ticked.

I don't want Wenger wasting our money - but wouldn't it be nice to have a fucking marquee signing to give us some hope? We're Arsenal, not fucking Huddersfield Town - there should be something to create even a little buzz.
