Tee-hee!
The threat to life is hyped by the media, because that's what they do. But the disruption that's going to come from this is real. And managing that disruption means you have to control the infection rates. And to do that it's probably best not to pack 40,000 people in the same place at a hundred venues all across the country. The Chinese hid this for a month and gave the virus a head start. Our government has been fucking around for as long again. So a lot of people are already infected. Shutting down mass gatherings is a no-brainer.
Of course the fucking schools are still open so any advantages from shutting down sport will quickly be lost due to catastrophic governmental incompetence and stupidity.
Calm down. There's as close to zero risk as makes no odds.
70% won't even notice the symptoms. The rest will suffer flu like symptoms and a small number of elderly and people with underlying conditions will develop secondary respiratory complications which are life threatening. A higher rate than the annual flu, so it's more dangerous to that particular group and that's the group that has to be protected. But to the vast majority there's no significant health risk at all. That's if what the experts are telling us is true, of course. For example, the risk to you is zero. Same for me. Zero.
But for all of us there are significant risks from the disruption this will cause and the undoubted panic that will set in once the government policy to infect as many people as possible bears maximum yield. The virus spreads through contact. So limit the contact. Shut the schools which are the number one incubator. Cancel large gatherings. Those two steps will cut the infection rate to the manageable numbers they claim they want to see. Instead they do the opposite because it's better to let everyone get infected so immunity is developed and because old people will get lonely if they stay at home. And because "the science". If that makes sense to anybody then they have probably already caught something horrific that fucks the brain.
There are enough cases globally now to gather the required data for a vaccine. That's the priority here, so vulnerable people have a defence. Instead the loons in Westminster want as many potential carriers as possible running around. How does that protect the vulnerable? No logic in what they are doing, at all. Bloody good job this isn't cholera or something similar. And with our borders wide open and all sorts flooding in because "diversity" what will be next, I wonder? There have already been outbreaks of bubonic plague in stunning, brave and diverse California.
Now that there is no live sport. We can all go back to watching Spurs victory DVDs.
I hear many porn sites are now offering discounts on subscriptions. Porn or Spuds videos. Hmmm?
Some of the delights of the live football lull is watching the reruns
just finished watching Spuds v Bayern 2-7. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!
Gnabry just shat on them at every opportunity
CL Final set for August 29th
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52316964
I can't believe they're still considering two-leg semis though i guess it's because of TV money as usual
How would that even work, doing it in August?
Isn't that next season? Unless they adjust next season too.
So it's after the transfer window but does that mean clubs couldn't play the players they buy, but then they couldn't play players they've sold.
It's all such a mess.
Oh I wish they’d just give up on football.
It’s fucking shit in its current state. Just burn it all down.
When this all goes back, turn support to the lower leagues, keep them afloat and let the top flight die.
CL to be finished in Lisbon. 12 day mini tournament.
https://www.skysports.com/football/n...y-final-stages
Obviously we know the reason why the tournament must be finished.
At least with this idea everyone is in the same boat.
Will be funny if Man City get there though. Won't return until possibly late August and then have to spend two weeks in quarantine.
Well if it goes against them they will be out of the Champions league a lot longer than that

Juventus 0-1 Lyon, Depay pelanty. :haha:
Dive from Sterling.
Ederson saves from Benzema.
Great save from Ederson to deny Benzema
Hazard smacks it, Ederson saves again.
Don't really understand why Vincius isn't starting.
Citeh 1-1 Marketing, BENZEMA!!!
:haha:
Peps misguided faith in Fernandinho as a CB will be his undoing. It's why they were so abysmal this season in the league. Yet he persists. Sheer hubris
Courtois saves from Cancelo, save right back out in front of him though.
Carvajal pulls De Bruyne down, somehow missed.
Juventus 1-1 Lyon, Penaldo.
They still need another two goals though.
Courtois nearly fucks it up.
Foden pulls it wide, shit from that angle really.
De Bruyne goes for goal from the corner.
