i think he'd do well because wenger loves playing the father figure so will make him the central piece of the team. the guy clearly has talent but feels unloved. at arsenal you become a superstar.
although im not sure whether wenger could handle rooney and his baggage. the pre-2005 wenger would have lapped it up but the recent one doesnt seem to have a clue tbh.
in terms of what we need he fits the bill though. someone who can drop deep yet bang them in. yes please.
