I wouldn't have thought so, odd that it has never happened for teams near the bottom of the table though where teams tend to be bunched up around the same points.

Fa would love that, another way to get more cash out of us to go Wembley. Chelsea should get 3rd if they've beaten us home/away, but I wouldn't mindd :good:

Championship play-offs are already a farce.

A playoff? Why? There are already rules to deal with this. How about a pre-playoff qualification round where teams that have nothing to do with it are invited in? A bit like the CL where the non-champions all get a go? Could be a real earner.
