Hope Di Matteo does as good a job as he did last season.
Then Honest Frank takes over .
He'll probably bring back Dennis Wise and Wilkins as player/coaches.

How long before someone praises Chelsea for not putting up with trophyless/fight-for-fourth campaign and comparing the situation to Arsenal?
-0.001 seconds.
I don't know why any self-respecting manager would take this job.
Saying that, I'm sure getting a 20m payout for 6-12 months work is attractive.
Totally agree MO you'd have to be a mad man to take that job tbh, no sympathy for him from me, saw the money got greedy now look what happens.
On the plus side they won't be getting hulk or falcao anytime soon.
Rafa is a good manager. If he took that job and screwed up though - potentially three big pay-offs in no time at all. S'ralan would be proud of that.
He'll be Lamplard's poodle.
Seriously, this was so clearly coming as to be a non-event. But equally clear - to me at least, is that this is an awful decision. AVB was trying the right things yet was undermined at every turn. For a sustainable improvement to be made, those undermining him should have been the ones sacked. It would have been short term pain for long term gain.
AVB has a future in football - what future do Chelsea have with old farts like Lamplard, Terry and Cole calling the shots?
Shame we're not playing the Old Boys for a while yet. Home banker there.
