The insult is meant to distract from the misuse of a statistical averaging out of the performance of a manger who swept all before him in the first half of his tenure but became the biggest shit in management in the second half, dragging the club to second tier status in the process. Like a trusty old horse from battles past that just detoured you into the desert and then died. Hey old horse, remember the good old days? They can't even flog their dead horse with any real conviction, instead resorting to statements such as "most successful FA cup manager ever". So what? I think he's also the most successful Top 4 Trophy winner and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they scraped that out of their barrel too.
