That's not true. The enthusiasm of youth can't be extinguished by a cynical manager. This is the only reason the two kids broke through, because they performed outside the very limited envelop set by their very unambitious manager. They are anomalies, not part of the plan. Football is a simple game. If you do it properly you win. If you go on Sky and have pundits and have agents and subscription fees and renew your contract 2 years in advance, It's something else - entirely unconnected I'd be angry of this was a football match.
