Come on Levante
FFS just realised Real are on at 5pm and il miss the first half.
Gijon riot which delays the game for an hour
Also thought the Real v Barca game was tomorrow but thats next week and il be at football then.
La Liga fixtures having a shocker
Real Madrid vs Barcelona is on at 9pm, we play Everton at 3pm.
Sporting 0-0 Real Madrid. It's on SS4 now.
What an effort from Di Maria, unbelievably good technique.
Disallowed goal for Higuain.
Sporting 0-1 Real Madrid, Di Maria. They're awesome tbf, soft defending to allow Di Maria to get the ball back but quite a finish from that angle.
Ridiculous defending for Di Maria's goal...Clichy-esque hesitation. And not exactly textbook goalkeeping either. Watching the half-time analysis and there's a bunch of clips of 'aggressive sporting'...with them just making a load of slight pushes, and tackles that in the premier league the ref would be 50/50 to play on. These guys are getting booked for them.
Can't wait for next week's game.
I'm not sure, there are a lot of bookings dished out these days in the Prem.
Terrible miss for Sporting.
0-2 Real Madrid, Ronaldo. Again.
Looks like Pepe had a can chucked at him.
Racing Santander 1-0 Villarreal currently. :rose:
Might need to check but in terms of league goals I think that's 39 goals in 32 games for Ronaldo in the calender year. Van Persie now has 32 goals in 31 games and Messi has 30 goals in 33 games.
Higuain off, Benzema on.
Eguren sent off for a second yellow. What an idiotic thing to do, if you're going to forearm smash Ronaldo on the back of the neck at least do it with force, otherwise, why bother?
Oezil off, Kaka on. Poor Oezil, he's incapable of lasting a whole game.
someone sent off your Sporting 2 yellows, ref was silly there
He's obviously not as good as Messi or Ronaldo but I think Van Persie won't get the credit he deserves unless he continues like this for the whole season - people think of season records; '30 goals in the league season' etc. as opposed to the calender year.
Needs 17 more in 24 games....sounds do-able.
Sporting 0-3 Real Madrid, Marcelo hammers one in. 10th win in a row for them.
0-3 FT.
Time for Barca vs Levante. Look out for Fatty Ballesteros, not that you can miss him.
Barca: Valdés, Mascherano, Puyol, Abidal, Busquets, Xavi, Cesc, Iniesta, Alexis Sanchez, Cuenca, Messi.
Levante: Munua, Juanfran, Del Horno, Ballesteros, Javi Venta, Xavi Torres, Iborra, Farinos, Valdo, Pedro Lopez, Kone.
1-0 Cesc
Barca 1-0 Levante, Cesc. Good finish, their first attack.
Valdes had to pluck one out of the air. Some effort from distance.
Cuenca can dribble too. FFS.
Messi at it again, his shot is deflected wide, well wide in fact.
Munua somehow saves Messi's freekick, it didn't look like he was paying attention at all.
Javi venta gives Sanchez a good kicking.
