So, no South Korea, Mexico or New Joisey Grands Prix next year then...ho-hum
double points in the final race of next year.
i think i will file that in the "what the fuck" category
I suppose I can understand the idea - it should help to make sure there is more to be decided on the final day but it all seems a bit like Double XP weekend on a spunkgargleweewee game to me.
Surely the double points thing is bullshit? That can't be true, ruining the sport so that cunts like Ecclestone can buy his 15th yacht and 380th whore. Do they really think they'll get a bigger audience all year round just because the last race is being turned into a farcical gimmick? Why don't they just randomly spray the track with oil? Or have marshals running out in front of cars in clown shoes? They could have remote controlled exploding wheelnuts, or make half the drivers go around the track in the opposite direction. So many ways it could be fucked up without resorting to the seriously stupid ideas the FIA come up with.
Don't be silly, they won't do anything remotely dangerous.
They dont' even run if it's a bit damp out.
Perez confirmed at Force India.
Di Resta
Michael Schumacher is in hospital with a serious head injury following a skiing accident.

Ron Dennis has returned as CEO of McLaren F1. I expect Martin Whitmarsh will be out the door fairly soon.
And Ecclestone has stood down from the F1 board, at least for the time being.
Hopefully it ends up being permanently tbf.
