It's a premeditated assault. The aim was to cause injury. Quite plain. Ramos should have got a red and a long ban. I don't know what the law states over in Ukraine, but in the UK Ramos could have also been arrested and prosecuted. Just because an assault happens on a football pitch it does not disqualify the law of the land. Salah has a good case to sue this cunt. Not just because of the assault, but he's also been deprived of his World Cup participation. Ramos is a serial offender. The captain of the most anti-football operation in the sport, worse even than Barcelona. It would be a good thing for football to see Ramos have to face up to his horrendous behaviour over so many seasons. Leaving aside the assault, the cunt proceeded to cheat at every opportunity. He's cancer to football.

Unfortunately, because of the money at stake and the sad little men with their hands stuck out hoping for a crumb, Ramos' vile antics will be airbrushed from history. It's how modern sport and the modern world works. It was how the old world worked too but there was more secrecy back then. Now things are necessarily blatant because the dishonesty has to be carried out in plain view.

Hopefully Ramos will suffer an extreme injury that will remove him from the game by natural means.

The reign of terror goes on but 4 CL titles in 5 seasons is stunning. Bale's goal was insane, I was watching in a bar and the reaction was priceless. It is better than Zidane's IMO just for the sheer audacity to even try an overhead kick from that range.
