I did consider it, but then this goes back to my point on how Mancini "dealt" with Balotelli. Wenger won't so openly point the finger on Balotelli to try and hide his own shortcomings.
Balotelli will be given enough freedom at the Emirates to concentrate on playing football, and the Media will run out of things to say when he's banging in goals for fun (which nobody can deny he is capable of doing). Great example of this is Suarez, as not too long ago he was the PE #1.
Balotelli will always attract controversy IMO, he's that kind of eccentric personality, but talent wise he's a bit special, if anyone can harness his ability to the full he's be some player. Wenger's style would suit him IMO, he seems like the kind of player who needs praise and to be made to feel special, that's probably Wenger's strength.
Not sure if this will ever happy though, any link is pure paper talk we've never really shown much interest in him.
I personally think Balotelli is worth the risk. His potential is limitless, he has already performed on the big stage albeit sporadically. The only thing he is lacking is consistency, once he finds that he will be up there as an Elite player IMO.

It's back on!
Blid say Bayern will be in for him as Ribery's replacement.
But Schalke's chariman says there was only one bid and it was from Us.
I'd rather we go after a striker, holding midfielder and probably a right back/center back if/when verm and sagna leaves. We have plenty of quality on the wings, especially with Gnabry and Ox who will only become better and better.
If Draxler is potentially special then I'm happy for us to spunk a load of cash on him seeing as we can afford to now, however there are certainly more pressing areas to improve in the team.
