nani would be our best forward straight away, no questions asked.
one of the few naturally talented players in the league.
I wouldn't swap Walcott for Nani.
If Nani can be such an inconsisted little fucker under a no nonsense bully like SAF, imagine the field day he'd have under father figure AW.
Nani has trickery and pace and he can actually score. If he came in to replace Gervinho then win win....but unfortunately it'll never happen.
He would be a little bit inconsistent and 2% away from football supremacy.
Honestly has`nt Wenger learnt anything by now. Fergie only willingly sells duds. If we buy Nani she will prob come along with an incurable case of clamydia allied with untreatable dyslexia.
That bus/coach says something about Milton Keynes on it so sod knows where Nani actually was.
@johncrossmirror: Ladbrokes offering 3/1 on Arsenal breaking their transfer record in January. Huntelaar is 5/2 to join. Fabregas is 10/1.
We could have a small chance getting Fab on loan but very unlikely.
No chance in signing him though.
I'm in!
Has Walcott sorted himself out yet?
Come on Falcao.
Any signing under Wenger will be like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

Klaas Jan Huntelaar would prefer a move to Inter Milan this January over Arsenal or Liverpool, according to the player’s agent.
Huntelaar is widely expected to quit current club Schalke inthe new year, as he has less than six months left on his current deal, and the race is on to land his signature.
Arsenal and Liverpool have both expressed a huge interest in acquiring Huntelaar, but Inter Milan are also keen, and agent Arnold Oosterveer says his client would jump at the chance to sign for Inter over the other options.
‘He would not mind playing in Milan again – especially because Inter would give him the chance to show he is a great player,’ said Oosterveer.
Huntelaar has already had one spell playing in Italy, having initially joined Schalke from AC Milan, where he struggled to live up to expectations.
Schalke have already refused to sell Huntelaar during the January transfer window, but it’s thought that a bid in excess of £10million should be enough to get the deal done.

Arsenal and Manchester City are preparing to test Athletic Bilbao's resolve to keep hold of striker Fernando Llorente, 27, in the January transfer window.
Llorente and Big Sexy up front could be quite brutal.
Sign him up, Ivan.
According to the versatile defender, he received an offer from Arsenal in the summer – but turned it down because they wanted him to play as a holding midfielder.
Alex Song was sold needlessly and perhaps Arsene Wenger believed he already had a replacement in Vertonghen but it fell through, he told Dutch website NUsport:
(Arsenal’s interest) was concrete, but they wanted me to be a controller in the midfield, an Emmanuel Petit-type. I’m not afraid of competition, but the overall picture of Spurs appealed to me more..
Ultimately, I just came to play at centre back. Gareth Bale had to play left back, but it did not work so he pushed forward and I moved to full-back. I see myself still as a centre-back. I’m not agile enough to play against players like Nani and [Raheem] Sterling.
Vertonghen would have been an excellent buy. The Gunners clearly lack depth in a variety of defensive positions including the holding midfield role and at left back. He could also have been rotated with Vermaelen from time to time, and at present Arsenal need sufficient backup at centre-half with Koscielny sidelined.

a revealing insight that. i would've thought that when you are managing expectations and money of such a large size you would be wise enough to have a few back up plans in place rather than not getting the man you want and then going to diaby next.
sure, he wanted to play in defence, fine. so who's next on the list, who can we buy to replace song? seems quite straight forward to me but what the fuck do i know.
Wenger has always done that. If he can't get who he wants then he sticks with what he has. Its not only on the pitch he lacks a plan B
Same old story.
Don't get the player we want and that's it, wenger just makes do.
Don't forget we have (insert name) who can play there also.
Yep Julio Baptista ring any bells. Remember that summer he wanted him and put all his eggs in that basket when he could not get him, or wasted the summer not getting him, we had no time to look for someone knew.
Same thing with Mata, he clearly wanted him, soon as that deal fell through same old.
Feckin MVila should have been bought. . .clearly wanted the move, clearly better than a lot of what we have, clearly weren't going to have break the bank for him so clearly not a bad plan B but why did we not get him. . , because he had a row with a cabbie or something?
Quite clearly fucked that one. . .ala as per :ilt:
 m'vila
how many medicals did he have? 4897? didnt he revolutionise the medical industry with the amount of medicals he potentially had in our medical centre full of medically crocked medical experts?
There was a time when he was a Must Get™but then we did our usual humming and arring over prices. The price went down and stayed down even after the Euros in which he wasnt great but nor was anyone on the French team and we still didnt go for him! Now dont tell me Wenger knew something because I dont buy that anymore.
In my eyes you know Bo fucking Diddly if you sell our first eleven holding mid and bring in jack shit to replace him.
This has been cited many times, there's absolutely no planning and it's shocking that a club of our stature have just one target and no fall back plan, everything about the club on the football side is a bit amateurish IMO, we're a big club with a small club mentality at the moment.
Looks like Mancs have got himQuote:
MANCHESTER UNITED and Arsenal are battling to capture PSV Eindhoven’s £17million-rated midfielder Kevin Strootman.
The 22-year-old Holland international has emerged as one of the most exciting young prospects in Dutch football over the past two seasons.
He has made no secret of his desire to play at the highest level.
And he could get his wish next month, with a host of top clubs on alert as the January transfer window approaches. AC Milan, Liverpool and Tottenham are also tracking Strootman, but United and Arsenal are leading the chase.
United scout Martin Ferguson and Arsenal’s talent spotter Steve Rowley have both given rave reviews on the man being hailed in the Dutch Press as the “new Mark van Bommel”.
A top PSV source revealed: “It looks certain that he will leave in January. The only question is where?
“It looks like Manchester United or Arsenal — they are both very keen.”
