Team GB
If you can't beat 'em, cheat 'em.
GB! GB! GB! GB!!
Nah, home bias I can understand but the disturbing thing is, they were actually trying to retract and paint a different picture of what actually transpired when Hindes honest admission was already caught on tape with absolutely no ambiguities whatsoever! Can you imagine that? The governing body of British Cycling being complicit in the act which implies they’re condoning simulations of this sort with the playacting and all? The fact they’re trying desperately to deny it is outright embarrassing and cringeworthy imo.
Give a shit.
There are clear double standards in ay here. However, as regards to the swimmer, I can't help but feel something is up, not because the swimmer is Chinese but because she is from a secretive Communist state and there has been endemic state sponsored doping for decades amongst these types of States.
But I agree while it is not cheating in terms of transgression of the rules of cycling it is very cynical and I'd question not so much what the British team did, but why that rule is there in the first place because surely how you start is part of the skill of the sport and if you fuck it up, you should pay the price for it just as you would if you fucked up at any other stage of the race.
Mental cycling starts again in a minute
Keirin. :haha:
Such a weird event. Awesome when it gets going though.
Some dude on a white bike is out in front! :o
