FRIDAY'S HIGHLIGHTS
Now back to what's coming up - more highlights than at a Vidal Sassoon convention:
1605 BST: Men's 1500m semi-finals - Briton Chris O'Hare made it to the second round, but it'll be a miracle if he makes the final. Kenya's Nixon Chepseba and Asbel Kiprop and Djibouti's Ayanleh Souleiman are the ones to watch.
1630: Men's long jump final - there are unlikely to be any Mike Powell 8.95m-efforts, but expect a decent shoot-out between Spain's Eusebio Caceres, home favourite Alexander Menkov and Mexico's Luis Rivera, who has leapt to 8.46m this year - the world lead. Olympic champion Greg Rutherford failed to qualify.
1640: Men's 200m semi-finals - as mentioned, Usain Bolt and Adam Gemili are in this. Can Gemili go sub-20? South Africa's Anaso Jobodwana looked good in qualifying. Watch out for Jamaica's Warren Weir (three times under 20 seconds in 2013) and United States sprinter Curtis Mitchell.
1715: Women's 800m semi-final - Britons Marilyn Okoro and Laura Muir will be going in this. Okoro has the experience, while Muir produced a great finish in her heat. American Brenda Martinez, Olympic champion Mariya Savinova and bronze medallist Ekaterina Poistogova will be fancied to go through.
1745: Men's 5,000m final - Mo Farah v everybody else.
1815: Women's 200m final - new world 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica v United States legend Allyson Felix. Felix is going for her ninth - that's ninth - world title. She's only 27.
1830: Men's 4x400m final - what GB would do to have Kriss Akabusi on that final leg. They're likely to have Martyn Rooney, who looked very comfortable in the heat. It's likely to be a battle between the United States and Jamaica for gold. United States will win. Surely.
GB to drop the baton in the first leg no doubt.
Felix.
Mitchell and Weir qualify from the first Men's 200m semi.
Bolt's semi-final on now.
Bolt jogs to a 20.13. And wins, of course.
