Was thinking that myself, our limp wristed capitulation was a big spark for them. Utd never said thanks when we helped them out last year. Hopefully the scousers at least send us a card.

Chelsea aren't even playing their best team, football isn't all about going out gung ho and trying to outscore teams, if you're playing someone you perceive to be in top form with a prolific attack ytour best bet is to try and nullify them rather than try and outscore them and end up getting beaten. You have to know when to attack and when you should play more conservatively.

Yeah they're not the prettiest but it would be stupid to take on Liverpool in a shootout, the teams that have have pretty much all lost.

Doesn't matter who you play when you play like that. No talent required to play the chav way, just barging, hoofing and hussling, anything required to prevent a football match taking place. Horrible.

Wins against the bigger teams act as a catalyst IMO, just like our wins against Man U when we won titles, it's those wins that make you believe, if you can't get those wins I think the doubts in your mind remain.

At least Gerard was smart enough not to foul him - can you imagine Flamster in that situation, Ba would have been booted over the crossbar.
