I thought he would be a decent player for us. OK, he went off the rails, but he is back, and if he still wants a move, maybe he will put in the hard work to secure it.
Before he was often played out of position imo, often came on and played on the wings. good option to bring on when we are struggling and fire some long balls up to him?

Performances are all that counts.

He can still carve out a role for himself as a decent 3rd/4th choice if he wants to. Despite all that's been said and done if he's willing to knuckle down and put the performances on the pitch then there can still be a future for him here.
