We're looking into extending his loan for 2 weeks.
Winner against the Spuds.
Reckon we should leave it tbh. It was worth bringing him here for that winner against Leeds alone - that must rank as the best moment in our new stadium and won't be forgotten. But he's clearly not up to scratch and it wasn't great watching him misplace simple passes and get bundled off the ball yesterday. He got his last minute goal through a shot which, had it not been for the deflection, was a comfortable save for the 'keeper. And I don't think we should be pushing our luck any further because it could end up costing us.
It's effectively a choice between playing with 10 men and having 2 people who can find the net vs. playing with 11 men and having 1 person who can find the net.
I'd go with the 11 and hope Van Persie can keep on delivering.
Yeah he's shit. Bit like Michael Owen. The Leeds winner was worth it for saving us an extra game as well. He really isn't up to doing anything other than goalhang, though.
Agree with the 2 posters above.
Hes a bit shit and was bought for sentimental value and cos Wenger knew hes under pressure from fans so bringing Henry back would ease that pressure. 2 goals he got are a bonus though
