Interesting that because Parker is so superior to anything at Arsenal, any transfer enquiries are "secret". Amazing that enquiries regarding players like Nasri, Clichy, Downing, etc. are plastered across the back pages. I would posit that you are "hoping" that the Parker enquiries are secret in order to substantiate your position that he is the right player for Arsenal.

No one said Parker is superior but he offers different qualities that others dont have. Denilson is utter shit now, Diaby has no discipline to defend his area, Song is too slow etc. :coffee:

Downing had his best season for Villa last year, and although not as bad as I first thought, surely 20 mil would get Lille to considet selling Hazard?

Parker has the right attitude and we have enough talent in the team and not enough 'heart', we really should give it a bash if he's available for anything under 8m imo.

Also, the self-destruction of reams of Arsenal fans on the basis of a fair sized scoop of bullshit along with almost childish impatience is pretty fricking funny.

Like I've said countless times, most shit on twitter comes from the news, the times it doesn't, it becomes the news. Current reports suggest that it's all but a done deal that he's off to Milan.
