Welcome! You've just arrived at the point a lot of us have been trying to make for the past few days.

Meh of course he is going, this is just part of the media circus. His team mate has more or less said he wants to go. Do you really belive AW will keep him around knowing his team mates know he dont want to be there.
Will seill him for 30 plus Allfely or bojan or both
Has to be better than Denilson.Quote:
Arsenal have made an approach for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Willian, with a deal for the 23-year-old including a payment of £12m and Gunners midfielder Denilson in part-exchange.
Full story: talkSPORT
Also on the gossip pages, I saw that Barcunts will be looking to cash in on David Villa so they can fund a move for our cunt captain.
Anyone else thinking swap?
Won't Denilson argue that he's a world class player and in need of a bigger club than Shitcar?
Who would replace fabregas?
Cesc Fabregas since 2004 – goals 52 , assists 88, total apps 310
Xavi Hernandez since 2004 – goals 49, assists 65, total apps 347
Remember a couple of seasons ago where it looked as though Villa would get 4th and Van Persie would leave to find CL football?
It's not really at all relevant, but I was just thinking how shit-scary that time was.
agreed......it is time......more than Cesc, would hate to see RvP go (have a funny feeling that Robin may be around for a few more years)Quote:
Time to cash in
if Cesc goes then the Nasri situation could be resolved more easily (could there have been a bit of that in Sagna's statement as he does mention Nasri too!) - we could give Nasri Cesc's salary or close to it and tie him down to a min 5 year contract.
Nasri could move to Cesc's AM position which I think he is best suited too and we could use the money to buy a decent winger
Sczensey
Sagna ------Verm -------Cahill/Samba------Baines
Song--------Wilshere
Walcott-----------Nasri------------Hazard
RvP
would this be a bad lien up? - bit light in the middle perhaps - bit short? (this is the first time I have tried to picture a team, moreover keep with the kind of formation we were using last season so please feel free to tear it to shreads:cool:)
Not sure if Hazard is likely or not but Gervinho and Baines is still a floating name (but would give us another very decent FK threat!)
My preferred line up would be back to 4-4-2.
jhdkfh.fl/ankmd
Sagna Cahill/Samba Vermaelen Gibbs
Walcott Song Wilshire Winger (Hazard?)
RVP
Gervinho/Striker
It's why I'm not that fussed about Cesc leaving, or Nasri for that matter. Get back to playing with width, pace and power.
Sagna Cahill Samba Vermaelen
Walcott Song Wilshere Hazard
RVP
Gervinho
hmm
Looks decent. I presume by "jhdkfh.fl/ankmd" you mean Sceznikotkoadsov? I think we should play him always unless he is injured because I see him as our No1 keeper for the next decade and more. With a proper back 4, he will be a top star. Just need the back 4 sorting..... :(
Milosevic looking unlikely according to Young Guns.
NNNNOOOOOOOOooooooo!
Savo Milosevic still available though.
If we are in for Willian then that's quite a good deal IMO. I've seen him a few times in the UCL and he looked a skilful winger who was direct, pacy and a threat.
However, some of the other players we are linked aren't exactly the type I was looking for. The Mirror linked us with a few players:
We still seem to be in the business of signing young, unknown players like Milosevic and Damaio. Surely it would be better to get more established player who've played a few seasons already in the top division of their domestic league, meaning they can come in instantly without needing to bed in? Sagna and Vermaelen are two examples of the sort of players who came in and immediately made an impact.Quote:
Arsene Wenger is looking to make a £30million statement of transfer intent to head off a growing Arsenal fan backlash.
Gunners chief Wenger is close to landing £12m Ivory Coast striker Gervinho from French champions Lille.
The Arsenal boss is also keen to push through a deal for a centre-back - either Blackburn captain Christopher Samba or Bolton's Gary Cahill.
And as Emirates chief executive Ivan Gazidis implicitly accused Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy of making unacceptable wage demands, it emerged that Wenger is tracking striker Leandro Damiao of Brazilian side Internacional and AIK Stockholm's Sweden Under-21 full-back Alexander Milosevic.
Gervinho, who has also been on the wish-list of Spurs and Newcastle, looks set to be the first major arrival of the summer.
Lille general manager Frederic Paquet revealed: "He actually wants to go and expressed his desire to leave for England.
"We have developed contacts with Arsenal. We will soon discuss with them to see what they want and see what they offer - but he is a player of value."
The move comes after Gazidis and Wenger came under sustained inquisition at a meeting of Arsenal supporters.
The chief executive had to reiterate his "100 per cent support" for Wenger, who has transformed the club since his arrival in September 1996.
As some fans' groups spoke of a potential "mutiny" if Wenger did not splash the cash this summer and reap tangible reward, Gazidis was pressed on the fact that Nasri and Clichy appear to be on their way out for nominal fees - way below their true market values - this summer to avoid them walking out for nothing in 12 months time.
After insisting he did not want to "discuss individual players", Gazidis added: "Every single club makes mistakes and certainly we do as we go through the journey. But almost everybody who analyses this area looks at Arsenal as a role model for efficiency of spending.
"We try to avoid the situation where valuable players are allowed to run down their contracts but we also try to avoid the situation where spending runs to unsustainable levels.
"Sometimes those two things are inconsistent and you need to make a judgement call and draw a line. We do that as well as we can and better than most."
That means refreshing the squad, with Samba appearing the more likely defensive arrival, especially with Manchester City and their bottomless cash reserves also on Cahill's trail.
Damaio, 21, who is also a Tottenham target, ironically made his Brazil debut at the Emirates against Scotland earlier this year. He boost Wenger's fire-power and potentially open the way for Andriy Arshavin's mooted return to Russian football.
Spurs had made the running for the £10m-rated striker but Arsenal can offer him Champions League football rather than the Europa League.
Liverpool are also interested in Milosevic, who is still in his teens.

While it would also be good if we were after players whom we've actually heard of, this isn't necessarily a prerequisite, because I doubt many heard of Sagna before he was bought.
heres to next season ladQuote:
Cesc Fábregas has admitted he feels frustrated at Arsenal, but insists he will not press for a summer transfer to Barcelona.
On Tuesday his Arsenal team-mate Bacary Sagna claimed Fábregas had decided to seek a return to the Catalan club where he came through the youth system before moving to London in 2003. However Fábregas has insisted that he will not agitate for a transfer.
Fábregas said: "Barcelona are the best team in the world and going there guarantees titles. But I owe myself to Arsenal.
"Any player who says he is not frustrated at not winning titles is lying. I am ambitious. [But] I have not spoken to the manager. He is the boss, he takes decisions and I don't know if they want to sell me or not.
"I have values and after all that I have done in eight years here I am not going to say a word that would ruin everything. I have always acted with discretion.
"Everyone sees things in a different way but in these [sorts of] decisions, not everything depends on the player. If I said anything else it would be a lie, it would give rise to speculation that is not true.
"I am very happy at Arsenal. I am not going to talk about any team – but I can't say no to anyone because you never know what could happen in the future."
Barça have tried and failed to sign their former player in each of the last two summer transfer windows.
He's wrapped around Wenger's finger.
Wenger.
I wonder how many players would leave when, I mean if, Wenger left.
if its true man u are heading for sanchez, they are not spending on this guy as wellQuote:
Samir Nasri's agent claims the Arsenal midfielder is set to hold further contract talks with Arsene Wenger in a bid to resolve his future.
The Frenchman, who is out of contract with the Gunners next July, has been heavily linked with a move away from Emirates Stadium this summer.
Arsenal boss Wenger has made it clear he wants to keep Nasri in North London and has no intention of selling him to fierce rivals Manchester United, who are thought to be chasing his signature.
Reports suggest the France international has shunned contract talks with the Gunners until he is satisfied their transfer targets are of the required standard to mount a title bid next term.
However, Nasri's representative Alain Migliaccio claims negotiations are ongoing and expects the player to meet with Wenger in the near future.
He told calciomercatoweb: "I want to clarify that there has been no break with the Gunners over the contract's renewal and we should meet again soon with Arsene Wenger."
Migliaccio also moved to play down speculation linking Nasri with a move away from the Emirates, with Inter Milan the latest club thought to be interested.
He added: "There are a few clubs interested in Samir, but it is useless to name them.
"Before listening to other teams, we need and we want to talk with Arsenal."
its hard to knock him, in the past he's always rushed to respond to speculation and has been honest enough this and last year to confirm what we always thought that he wants to go home.
no problem with that, as he gives his all when wearing our shirt. his injuries have made it look otherwise but he still got the most assists in the pl for us last year
