Yeah great idea signing a 32 year old midfielder who is well past his best and hasn't performed well since he's been at Man City (since 2009). I agree this is the most believable as he'd be available on the cheap which is the kind of deals we like, hope this is BS though.

We don't need anymore squaddies or players to do a 'steady' job. Even if we did it would be better to buy a mid-range young player with room to improve. Not a washed up, limited player like Barry who can't even run anymore.
