Sterling specialises in epic misses
As for Pep, got to say he's been a failure at CL level with Citeh, i blamed him last season for being silly and trying to win the quadruple, this year he's let the defence fall apart

Innocent on the bench. :haha:
Neymar misses a sitter!
Leipzig 0-1 PSG, Marquinhos.
Mbappe scuffer, offside or not.
Poulsen you berk!
I fucking hate Neymar.
0-2 Di Maria. Bollocks defending from Leipzig.
Neymar just dropped the Ashes.
Kimpembe booked.
0-3 Bernat.
McManaman was talking of course it's a goal, a few seconds after saying t was surely offside.
PSG in the final.
Come on Bayern.
PSG winning this has always been an inevitably, it’s just been a matter of when.
Hopefully Bayern (or Lyon) can prolong their desperate wait.
So why do we hate PSG now?
I think they're another club who spend money like it's going out of fashion, right?
I guess overall that's a bad thing, I guess I just don't care so much when it's in our league.
Same reasons as City really. A club propped up by a state who have strong armed their way into the mix by sheer force of spending. I think PSG’s owners are even wealthier than City’s too, Qatar is apparently the richest nation on earth pound for pound.
You’re right I don’t really care as much for them either because they’re not in our league but PSG are as abhorrent as they come. Plus Neymar is a cunt.
I don't like PSG for the same reasons as MO, although i don't hate Neymar as much as some people. I get he dives a bit and he's been at the centre of some ridiculous transfer fees, but he's become more of a team player now it seems
1) The general feeling that they haven't really had to work for their "success", so it's kind of hard to admire or be impressed by anything they do.
2) I guess a lot of rival fans resent the knock-on effect that these clubs have on the rest of us in terms of the prices and wages we're forced to pay.
3) It's really fucking hard to gain any traction on team building, player development and generally trying to do things in a different / smarter way when fuckers like City, Chelsea and PSG are constantly hovering around, unsettling and poaching all of your best players. (I do think the other clubs are starting to turn this back on them now, and are quite deliberately milking these clubs for as much of their money as they can get, which is great in the long-term, but it's probably also a tacit admission that you're unlikely to be compete in the short-term.)
4) Personally speaking, I just feel like all of the skill goes out of the coaching side of the game when teams are run like that. Part of what makes following a club interesting is things like how you manage a limited squad across a season and how you shuffle the pack when you're running low on options. It's things like the game plans and tactics you have to come up with to beat a tougher opponent, and seeing players who have been with you for years develop and find another level. It just doesn't feel like there's much skill or craft involved when you never have to worry about things like squad depth or fatigue. I just find it really boring.
All fairly valid reasons. I basically agree although I just care less when it's in a different league. Doesn't affect us so directly.
But yeah, this isn't new of course. Chelsea showed you can buy success, City have showed you can do it with any club if you pump enough money in.
I remember back in the day we were looking like we'd sign Shaun Wright-Phillips. Chelsea swooped in, doubled the price and stuck him on their bench. Because they could.
It's the way the sport has gone unfortunately.
Equally though, Moan U show that you can spend a lot of money and still mess it up - spening loads on Lukaku, Pogba, Sanchez, Bighead etc etc hasn't got them anywhere
There's still skill to building a successful team and actually winning the biggest trophies
Bayern Munich: Neuer, Kimmich, Boateng, Alaba, Davies, Goretzka, Thiago, Gnabry, Muller, Perisic, Lewandowski.
Subs: Ulreich, Hoffmann, Odriozola, Sule, Pavard, Martinez, Coutinho, Cuisance, Hernandez, Tolisso, Coman, Zirkzee.
Lyon: Lopes, Denayer, Marcelo, Marcal, Dubois, Caqueret, Guimaraes, Aouar, Cornet, Ekambi, Depay.
Subs: Diomande, Andersen, Pereira, Dembele, Traore, Mendes, Reine-Adelaide, De Souza, Tete, Tatarusanu, Bard, Cherki.
Depay misses a 20ft wide target. Jeez!
Lyon missing opportunities. Much the better team right now
Lyon missed 3 chances. Now Gnabry fires Bayern ahead. The boy is world class now Wenger!:o:(
He's a bit good.
Pulis. :haha:
Gnabbers makes it 2. Lyon:wwf:
Lyon did their bit.
Quite sickening really how good Gnabry has become. Must be a 100m player now.
Even if he was, we wouldn't have sold him for that.
Gnabry off, Coutinho on.
Gnabry is brilliant and we saw how good he was when he had a run in the team.
As usual though, he got injured and never really played for us again. We probably should have loaned him to a better team/manager, but this is one thing you can't blame the club for. He was reluctantly sold because he wanted some playing time and Bayern did one of their dodgy deals to secure him.
The Jeff is on now to salvage this.
Fantastic block by Muller to deny Goretzka.
Lyon 0-3 Bayern Munich, Lewandowski.
Of course he scores.
Lyon 0-3 Bayern Munich, FT.
Come on Bayern.
Completely forgot PSG would do the Quadruple if they win this.
Hard to see Bayern not winning it, the run they’re on is insane. Comfortably the best team in the world at the moment.
PSG will have to hope Mbappe and Neymar have the game of their lives.
It seems very daft to me that the final is on tomorrow night and not tonight.
