One of my biggest fears for this transfer window is that some of the players we are after, want CL footie and since we're not sure to be in the CL until the end of aug (or the 9th if we draw an easy team) we could be waiting 1½ months before seeing any big names comming in :s

I think you need to expand the scope of your fear. Far more likely is no big names will be coming in at all.

So then, apart from talking about who everyone else is signing, any ideas what we can do on this thread while we wait for the transfer window to close?
