Strange that we're splashing all this cash now but couldn't convince RVP to stay. If we knew the Puma deal was going to happen surely we could have bought these world class players two years ago and kept RVP as a result?! Not sure it's wrong at all to judge on the basis of a World Cup. That was his stage and he looked ordinary. These silly fees are the result of inflation far outstripping value as joke clubs like PSG and the gypos spend without real world constraint. Without these dopers Cavani would have a realistic fee attached and the fear factor would recede to Fellaini levels. I wouldn't be worried at all if he went to Utd, it would tie up a big chunk of their budget and they wouldn't get anywhere near a decent return on the investment. They are already paying through the nose for that fraud Rooney so they have previous when it comes to wasting huge amounts of cash.
Khedira would be an excellent signing, on top of Sanchez. Debuchy in the bag too, although he isn't exciting but not many right backs are.
we could be getting into nose bleed territory especially if we get another CB. Both sanchez and khedira also allow us to change formation from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 if we want which would be nice.
